EGAT’s lignite fly ash is classified as Class C under the ASTM C618 standard. Having good pozzolanic activity or cementitious properties, it can be an excellent substitute for Portland Cement Type 1. Moreover, it can be used as a raw material for producing ready-mixed concrete and building materials. It can also be used in mega construction projects, such as dams, electric trains, airports, bridges, foundation pillars and condominiums, etc.
Lignite bottom ash is black and its size ranges from 0.1 – 10 millimeters. It has good drainage and ventilation properties, similar to sand. When ground, it is an excellent pozzolanic material. Lignite bottom ash can be used as a raw material in various industries, such as pottery, ceramic, and cement production.
FGD Gypsum (CaSO4 • 2H2O) is yellow and has a purity greater than 90%. It is divided into two types – one with less than 12% moisture and the other with less than 20% moisture. In general, FGD Gypsum has the same properties as natural gypsum, with a fine and consistent texture. It can be used as a raw material in cement, fiber cement, and organic fertilizers, as well being used to improve soil quality.
